Telegram shows WhatsApp how to do with this update

WhatsApp might even be the most used direct messaging app in the world. But that doesn't mean it's the safest, or the one that has the most interesting features to provide users. Let the rival Telegram say.

Telegram launches video calls with 30 participants, and 1000 people watching

For its service, Telegram has just announced Group Video Calls 2.0. And these consist in the fact that 30 people can be simultaneously sharing video, while no less than 1000 people can watch.

This is a feature that will please you if you are involved in a very large group of people and some of them want to communicate. And in the same statement, the Telegram states that the goal is to continue to raise this threshold, "until all humans on Earth can join a group call."

Starting a video call on Telegram is quite simple. Just create a voice chat in any group you are admin. From there you just have to activate the video.

Related to the same theme, Telegram also launches Video Messages 2.0. These now have a higher resolution, and you can click on them to expand them and access that additional resolution.
